From children's holiday clubs to exercise classes, we share our home with a variety of regular visitors. We like to see the space as more than just a building that a church meets in – the Kalos Centre is a community hub.
Here are some groups we’ve built a relationship with over the years. We’re always open to new ideas too, so if you think the Kalos Centre would be the right place for your regular event, check out our Venue Hire page and drop us a line.
Little Kickers offer pre-school football coaching, teaching football in a fun, pressure-free environment. The aim is to give children a positive introduction to sport as a whole, not just football, so they’re more likely to stay healthy and active throughout their lives. Sessions stimulate imagination and aid early development skills such as learning colours and numbers, following instructions and playing as a team.

All Write Now
A creative writing club for children aged 8-11 years old. The sessions will inspire children to think creatively and write with confidence.
In the words of Michael Morpurgo,
“Everyone has a story to tell; you, me, everyone. All we need is the confidence to tell it out or write it down. And it really helps if you are with other people wanting to do the same because each can give the other confidence. So tell it, write it, as you see it, as you hear it, as you remember it; dream it through and tell it down. Hope you enjoy doing it as I do.”
With the daily workload and hustle of the city, we can sometimes forget how to let loose! As it stands, we are a nation who must relearn the art of playfulness. Actually, most people are quite willing; they just need permission and that’s where PLAY TONE comes in. Unleash your inner child with our weekly ‘Learn to Skate’ classes where you’ll learn pro tricks taught by true roller professionals – all sharing a passion for spinning, twisting and rolling around.
Make new friends and learn a new skill all while jamming to 70’ disco tunes!
