KALOS is a Greek word, which means beautiful, handsome, good, excellent, eminent, choice, surpassing, precious, valuable, useful, suitable, commendable, honest, admirable & virtuous

We believe the Church on the earth is called to reveal God’s kingdom in all its beauty, glory & virtue, and to inspire people to experience it, engage with it and enter it. Jesus has promised to build His Church, but we have committed to reveal His glory! Therefore the activities that are born out of the church are to bless the individuals and communities we have relationship with. We are not concerned so much to promote our name, but the Name that is above every name: JESUS, God’s beautiful, eminent, precious and commendable gift to the world!

BCC and Kalos Ministries

Kalos ministries is the collective name given to activities Balham Community Church initiates and partners to express God’s kingdom in different spheres of local communities, cities and nations. We currently partner with UK Citizens, the largest broad based organisation in the country, promoting justice in many different spheres in our nation. We are also partnering with organisations working in India, Moldova and The Gambia.
