Our mission We do not see followers of Jesus just being called to do mission from time to time, but to be missional in every aspect of their lives. To that end, our mission statement is essentially our Rule for our community to help us live like Christ. In my desire to honour God as my Father, Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, I will try to: • Love God with all that I am becoming • Keep my life holy • Fellowship with God in my personal and family devotions • Give gladly and generously of my time, talents & possessions • Be faithful in meeting with & serving the Community of Faith I belong to In my desire to honour God as my Father, Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, I will try to: • Love others as God helps me to love myself • Serve others humbly and sacrificially with God’s love • Encourage others, and exercise forgiveness • Make myself accountable to others • Submit to loving discipline • Bear other people’s burdens In my desire to honour God as my Father, Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, I will try to: • Live as a Disciple of Christ guided by my Community of Faith • Separate myself from the world’s evil by following God’s ways & truths • Seek peace and pursue it daily • Trust in God’s love • Proclaim the good news of salvation through my words and actions
